CONFESSION  AND RELEASE (2008)

Moonbound, founded in 2006 by Italian producer and multi-instrumentalist Fabio Trentini, is a project that blends nostalgic pop-rock with a modern twist. Influenced by the '70s and '80s sounds of bands like The Police and Tears For Fears, as well as the progressive rock of Yes and Genesis, Moonbound’s music offers a unique fusion of styles.

The debut album, "Confession & Release" (2008), featured prominent artists such as Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson) and Markus Reuter (Stick Men). 

The follow-up, "Peak Of Eternal Light" (2011), included collaborations with Dave Gregory (XTC) and Pete Vuckovic (3 Colours Red), further establishing Moonbound in the international prog-rock scene.

After a break, the darker-themed third album, "Uncomfortable News From The Moon" (2015), brought in talents like Tony Levin, Tim Pierce and Steve Farris (Mr. Mister). In 2019, Moonbound was revived as a full band, with new members Alessandro Papotto and Maurizio Masi (Banco del Mutuo Soccorso), and Matteo Ballarin (Aldo Tagliapietra, Gianna Nannini).

Their latest EP, "Back To Square Four," co-produced by Markus Reuter, was released  on Unsung Records in April 2024.
